Job summary

City of Hope Atlanta, located in Newnan, GA, seeks a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Medical Director of Gastroenterology to lead a growing GI program within a renowned cancer center. You will collaborate with oncologists and specialists in a multidisciplinary setting to deliver exceptional patient care and advance research-led treatments.

The role includes performing advanced GI procedures (EUS and ERCP), developing outreach to build the practice, and leading clinic and procedural days.

Qualifications

• MD or DO or foreign equivalent required.
• Advanced Endoscopy/Advanced GI Fellowship completed.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Gastroenterology.
• Georgia medical license required prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with oncologists and specialists in a multidisciplinary setting.
• Grow the GI practice through outreach with APP support available.
• Perform and oversee advanced GI procedures including EUS and ERCP.
• Lead a 3-procedure day and 1 clinic day weekly schedule.
