The Central Texas Veterans Health Care System in Temple, TX seeks a Gastroenterologist to perform GI procedures in the day procedure unit and support inpatient care. You will rotate on-call duties at nights and weekends to ensure continuous care for Veterans.

Beyond clinical duties, you will participate in administrative tasks, teaching, and committee work as directed by the Chief of Gastroenterology, mentoring residents and fellows with regular feedback and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Perform GI procedures in the day procedure unit and other settings as appropriate
• Take rotational call on nights and weekends for inpatients
• Engage in administrative tasks, teaching, and committee assignments
• Mentor Internal Medicine residents and Gastroenterology Fellows, providing feedback on performance
