Job summary

Attending learners and supervising Advanced Practice Providers are part of the duties. Qualified candidates hold MD/DO with Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, with 2+ years of clinical experience and leadership

Qualifications

• MD or DO with Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience; 4 years with leadership/mentorship.
• Experience supervising Advanced Practice Providers in outpatient settings.
• Proven ability to design efficient clinical workflows in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct GI consultations and endoscopy procedures in an outpatient clinic.
• Order and interpret tests and imaging to guide patient care.
• Provide diagnoses and treatments based on history and exam findings.
• Prescribe medications and arrange referrals for care.
• Lead and supervise Advanced Practice Providers as needed.
• Collaborate with operations and clinical leadership to improve access and efficiency.
