The Central Texas Veterans Health Care System in Temple, TX seeks a Gastroenterologist to perform GI procedures in the day procedure unit and support inpatient care. You will rotate on-call duties at nights and weekends to ensure continuous care for Veterans.

Beyond clinical duties, you will participate in administrative tasks, teaching, and committee work as directed by the Chief of Gastroenterology, mentoring residents and fellows with regular feedback and professional development.

As a Gastroenterologist at the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System, you will be expected to perform various gastrointestinal procedures in the day procedure unit and potentially other appropriate settings. In addition to clinical duties, you will be involved in administrative tasks, teaching, and committee assignments as delegated by the Chief of Gastroenterology. • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

• Education Debt Reduction: Eligible for student loan repayment over five years, plus additional education loan repayment possibilities.

• Competitive Salary and Bonuses: Pay: Range $375,000-$395,000 per year. Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases.
