Job summary

Soap Creek Resources is seeking a Gastroenterologist for a full-time position in Hobart, IN. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with a 1:7 call rotation and relocation assistance.

You will design your practice within a premier, tech-forward environment. The successful candidate will manage endoscopic procedures, coordinate care for GI and liver diseases, and work with a multidisciplinary team using EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible with a plan for certification within a specified timeframe.
• Possession of unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration
• Experience with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with EMR

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services for GI and hepatobiliary disorders
• Clinic patients per day: 20-30
• Hospital patients per day: 10-15
• Call Rotation: 1:7
• Perform routine and advanced endoscopic procedures in outpatient or hospital settings
• Coordinate longitudinal care for chronic GI conditions and liver disease with surgical and primary care teams

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services for patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary (liver) disorders
• Clinic patients per day: 20-30
• Hospital patients per day: 10-15
• Call Rotation: 1:7
• Perform routine and advanced endoscopic procedures in an outpatient or hospital setting to diagnose and treat digestive diseases
• Manage a high-volume clinical practice, coordinating longitudinal care for chronic conditions like IBD and liver disease
• Work alongside surgical and primary care teams to ensure integrated treatment plans and timely screenings

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible with a clear plan for certification within a specified timeframe.
• Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration
• Experience with or aptitude for utilizing EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
