Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC has an opening for a Gastroenterologist in Hobart, IN. This full-time role offers a flexible schedule with a 1:7 call rotation and both clinic and hospital responsibilities.

You will diagnose and treat GI and hepatobiliary disorders, perform procedures, and coordinate longitudinal care with surgical and primary care teams. The position emphasizes physician well-being, work-life balance, and access to advanced, tech-forward resources in a premier facility recognized

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in gastroenterology with plan for certification within a defined timeline.
• Individually eligible for Indiana medical license; CSR/DEA registration.
• Experience or aptitude with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic and treatment services for GI and hepatobiliary disorders.
• Manage 20-30 clinic patients per day and 10-15 hospital patients per day.
• Perform endoscopic procedures in outpatient or hospital settings.
• Coordinate longitudinal care for chronic GI conditions like IBD and liver disease.
• Collaborate with surgical and PCP teams for integrated treatment plans and screenings.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services for patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary (liver) disorders
• Clinic patients per day: 20-30
• Hospital patients per day: 10-15
• Call Rotation: 1:7
• Perform routine and advanced endoscopic procedures in an outpatient or hospital setting to diagnose and treat digestive diseases
• Manage a high-volume clinical practice, coordinating longitudinal care for chronic conditions like IBD and liver disease
• Work alongside surgical and primary care teams to ensure integrated treatment plans and timely screenings

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible with a clear plan for certification within a specified timeframe.
• Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration
• Experience with or aptitude for utilizing EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
