Job summary

Eden Capital Careers is seeking a Gastroenterologist for a full-time position in Hobart, IN. The role offers flexibility within a Monday–Friday schedule, with a 1:7 call rotation and relocation assistance.

You will diagnose and manage GI and hepatobiliary conditions, perform endoscopic procedures, and collaborate with surgical and primary care teams to deliver comprehensive care while enjoying a supportive work-life balance and access to modern, tech-forward EMR systems.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible with a plan for certification.
• Indiana medical license and CSR/DEA registration in progress.
• Experience with EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools.
• Strong communication and EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat GI and hepatobiliary disorders.
• See clinic patients 20-30 per day.
• Hospital patients 10-15 per day.
• 1:7 call rotation.
• Perform routine and advanced endoscopic procedures.
• Coordinate longitudinal care for IBD and liver disease.

Job Type : Full-time | Monday – Friday, flexible schedule | 1:7 call rotation

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services for patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary (liver) disorders
• Clinic patients per day: 20-30
• Hospital patients per day: 10-15
• Call Rotation: 1:7
• Perform routine and advanced endoscopic procedures in an outpatient or hospital setting to diagnose and treat digestive diseases
• Manage a high-volume clinical practice, coordinating longitudinal care for chronic conditions like IBD and liver disease
• Work alongside surgical and primary care teams to ensure integrated treatment plans and timely screenings

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible with a clear plan for certification within a specified timeframe.
• Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Indiana Medical License and CSR/DEA registration
• Experience with or aptitude for utilizing EPIC EMR and AI-assisted documentation tools
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
