Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or related engineering field.
• 2–4 years of related engineering experience with gas, water, and/or wastewater utility systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Must be able to use ESRI GIS, GPS, and modeling tools.

Responsibilities

• Scope of work includes civil engineering functions for gas, water, and/or wastewater utility systems.
• Prepare plans, specs, work orders and cost estimates for construction and maintenance.
• Communicate with customers and developers on services and main extensions.
• Review plans by outside engineers for conformance to DU requirements.
• Field work to determine right-of-way and easement locations using GPS and levels.
• Maintain records for regulatory bodies and ensure PHMSA compliance.
• Interact with customers and developers to handle requests and resolve complaints.
• Collect data, generate reports, and maintain files for utility systems.
• Utilize computer-aided design software and equipment for system studies.
• Adhere to safety policies and codes.
