Job summary

Primoris Distribution Services is seeking a Project Coordinator to provide administrative and operational support to Project Managers overseeing natural gas distribution/transmission construction projects.

The role requires strong organization, communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced utility environment with a focus on documentation, scheduling, and budgets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Open to all experience levels; training and mentorship available.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience using Bluebeam PDF.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers with administrative tasks: data entry, filing, copying, scanning documents.
• Coordinate startup documentation: permits, notifications, 811 tickets, client docs.
• Prepare and process project documents: PO, invoices, expense reports, change orders.
• Assist with material procurement, equipment requests, and delivery coordination.
• Maintain and organize project files (physical and electronic).
• Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and minutes.
• Communicate with stakeholders to facilitate project flow.
• Track progress, deadlines, and budgets; report discrepancies.
• Support project closeout with as-built docs, test records, and reports.
