Job summary

Centuri is seeking a Gas Utility Laborer in the United States to join a field crew led by a Foreman. You will work with skilled operators, using hand tools to dig around utilities and support safe field operations, ensuring community safety and project progress.

You’ll receive 1-4 weeks of paid training and on-the-job instruction to build practical skills in excavation, trenching, and equipment maintenance while learning safety standards on outdoor job sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Strong desire to learn a new trade and work safely in the field.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools to dig around existing utility structures to prevent damage.
• Load and unload equipment and materials.
• Keep worksite clean and organized free from unnecessary hazards.
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning on assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain all industry required Operator Qualifications.
• Perform other tasks as requested by leadership.
