Starting Pay: $29.20/hour

As a Gas Utility Laborer

You'll receive 1-4 weeks of paid training to develop essential skills for safe and efficient work in the field. You'll be led by an experienced Foreman and work alongside skilled Equipment Operators and Pipe Fitters, gaining valuable hands-on experience and on-the-job training to build a strong foundation in the gas utility trade.

This role offers the opportunity to develop specialized skills in areas such as excavating, trenching, shoring, and more.

What You'll Do

• Use hand tools to dig around existing utility structures to prevent damage
• Load and unload equipment and materials
• Keep worksite clean and organized, free from hazards
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning on vehicles and equipment
• Maintain all industry-required Operator Qualifications
• Perform other tasks as requested by leadership

Work Environment

• Outdoor worksites in potentially extreme weather
• All safety instructions are in English; fluency required
• Prolonged and repeated lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing, climbing, kneeling, reaching, crawling
• Work within the “red zone” of heavy equipment
• Requires quick/accurate hand-eye coordination and alertness for safety
