Job summary

Reconn Utility Services in Boston, MA is seeking an on-site Utility Inspection Technician to join our team handling gas meter inspections, leak checks, and corrosion prevention. You will complete required paperwork and report on time to your shift location.

Daytime, full-time hours with possible overtime and weekend work; new training is provided and a company vehicle is included. We prioritize safety and public protection in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record required.
• Ability to read a utility map.

Responsibilities

• Check gas meters for leaks and corrosion and perform visual inspections.
• Complete required paperwork/data for each inspection (electronic or paper).
• Report to the assigned work area on time at the start of each shift.
