Atmos Energy Corporation in Haslet, Texas, is seeking a Service Technician I-II to perform basic operations under clearly prescribed procedures and to respond to customer requests for gas service connections and disconnections. You will inform customers of needed repairs, ensure satisfaction, and may read meters for billing.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and completion of Operator Qualifications (OQ) with on-the-job training.

Ability to communicate with internal/external customers.

Responsabilités

Performs basic work using clearly prescribed procedures.
Responds to customer requests for service including connections and disconnections as qualified by the operator.
Informs customer of needed repairs and ensures customer understanding and satisfaction with work performed.
May disconnect service and perform collection efforts on delinquent accounts.
Installs, programs, and operates Wireless Meter Reading (WMR) equipment as needed.
Assists with activities to ensure quick responses to natural gas and other emergencies.
Completes and maintains accurate records and reports to meet company and regulatory requirements.
May read meters and record usage for billing.
May hold stand-by duty, work shifts, holidays, weekends, emergency call outs, and occasional extended hours.
Identifies, addresses, and reports safety and encroachment issues to resolution.
