Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, a leader in aircraft engines and power systems, seeks a process/manufacturing engineer to support daily shop floor activities at the NAS Jacksonville depot. Responsibilities include developing work packages for F135 disassembly, repair, and testing in line with engineering requirements.

You will generate secure, accurate work instructions, collaborate across the F135 sustainment network, and drive corrective actions for process issues, ensuring on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or 9 years of related experience.
• 5+ years (with a degree) of process, assembly or manufacturing engineering experience (gas‑turbine engines preferred)
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily process engineering shop floor support for the F135 engine depot in Jacksonville.
• Develop and maintain work packages for disassembly, repair, assembly and testing per engineering requirements.
• Create work instructions enabling shop floor operators to meet all specs and configurations.
• Collaborate with the F135 sustainment network to develop solutions to common problems.
• Investigate process breakdowns, implement corrective actions, and support other MRO lines to meet delivery schedules.
