Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking an experienced piping engineer to design and manage detailed piping systems for power plant projects in Orlando, FL. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and vendors to ensure precise integration and timely startup activities.

The role emphasizes quality assurance, with travel to supervise progress and vendor activities as needed, and requires expertise in piping analysis and relevant codes.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering degree with GPA 3.0 or higher.
• Five or more years of piping engineering experience preferred.
• Experience with pipe stress analysis using PC-based programs; AUTOPIPE preferred.
• Familiarity with ASME B31.1, ASME B16.5, AISC, AWS; STAAD Pro for pipe support analysis.
• Authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Issue piping drawings for project-specific applications.
• Review, control and own 3D piping models.
• Perform pipe stress analysis and pipe support calculations as required.
• Write technical specifications as required.
• Coordinate with piping fabricators and insulation vendors.
