Job summary

ProPetro Energy Solutions seeks a Turbine Operator to oversee gas turbine packages in power generation, ensuring safe, efficient, and continuous operations. You will monitor panels, coordinate fault-finding with the Remote Operations Center, and maintain logs and records of daily activities.

The role requires 1 year of turbine or electrical experience, ability to read electrical drawings, and willingness to work long shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of gas turbine operations or electrical experience.
• Able to read electrical and control drawings.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work 12+ hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operation of gas turbine packages and related equipment.
• Monitor control panels, gauges, and instruments for optimal performance.
• Coordinate with Remote Operations Center for fault-finding and troubleshooting.
• Assess equipment readiness after shutdown events and during commissioning.
• Maintain housekeeping and adherence to safety policies and procedures.
• Keep accurate logs of operations and maintenance activities.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts on equipment and interfaces.
• Apply available software to improve operational efficiency.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of power generation assets.
