22nd Century Technologies Inc. seeks an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer II to join GE Vernova's Gas Turbine Engineering (GTE) organization as part of the Design Liaison Engineering (DLE) team.

You will drive qualification strategies, support cross-functional engineering and manufacturing partners, and ensure components meet GD&T, BoM, and QMS standards while pursuing cost and quality improvements across global supply chains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience with gas turbine hardware is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Owns and manages DLE qualification milestones.
• Executes qualification strategy for Gas Turbine hardware.
• Ensures compliance with templates, processes, and QMS.
• Collaborates with global supply chain, quality, sourcing.
• Drives quality improvements across internal and external teams.
• Applies design-for-manufacturability and lean practices.
• Reviews drawings, GD&T, and BoMs.
• Maintains engineering documentation through qualification.
• Disposes unqualified hardware (NCNs/SDRs).
• Identifies opportunities to improve design and manufacturing.
• Supports cost-reduction initiatives and FBiQ programs.
