Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking an R&D Engineer to design next‑gen fluid and mechanical accessories for gas turbine power plants. You will work with a broad network of engineers and suppliers to create innovative, sustainable designs within the R&D process framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical, Process, Chemical, or Aeronautical engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in Mechanical & Fluids engineering and/or quality in Power, Aeronautics, Chemical or Automotive industry.
• Lean and Quality oriented Culture.

Responsibilities

• Design next generation products of the gas turbine power plant and accessories from launch to field validation, prioritizing safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Follow R&D process, manage milestones, and obtain peer validation and leadership sign-off.
• Present designs to board reviewers and close action items.
• Develop and implement design/analysis tools to improve Standard Work and reduce CoPQ.
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to create cohesive designs.
• Support tendering bids and high-level preliminary analysis under leadership guidance.
• Assist root cause analysis and implement corrective actions on existing designs.
• Work cross-functionally to improve variable cost and promote standard product use.
