Job summary

Siemens Energy, Inc. is seeking an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead for Gas Turbines in Orlando.

The role requires guiding a global, multidisciplinary team responsible for design, manufacturability, serviceability and fleet introduction of gas turbines, blades and vanes. You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, service, procurement and program management to ensure project targets are met, on time and within budget, while managing technical and commercial risks and communicating

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in mechanical or aerospace engineering; Master’s/PhD preferred.
• 10+ years in project management or technical manufacturing background; gas turbines experience required.
• Experience with design for manufacturing and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary global IPT for gas turbine blades and vanes within Large Gas Turbines R&D.
• Guide IPT members in aerodynamics, heat transfer, mechanical design and integrity to meet objectives.
• Manage interfaces with manufacturing, service, technology and other engineering domains to achieve turbine project targets.
• Ensure projects are on schedule, within budget and comply with technical specs.
• Identify and manage technical and commercial risks; regularly report progress to the engine level PM and stakeholders.
