Job summary

Siemens Energy's Aero Gas Turbine (AGT) Controls Field Service Representative is a Region North America role based in the United States, supporting AGT A05, A20, A35 and A65 controls commissioning and service, with cross-training across product families.

You will travel extensively, load software, perform loop checks and calibrations, and report progress to clients while coordinating with Siemens engineering and sales teams.

Qualifications

• 4-year engineering degree OR 5–7 years related experience with instrumentation, control systems and PLCs.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Experience with Allen Bradley ControlLogix is strongly preferred.
• Willing to travel 70% domestically and occasional international travel.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and passport.
• AGT gas turbine controls training/certification/experience with Siemens controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Energize equipment, load software, and establish communication on PLC platforms; perform software changes during commissioning.
• Interact with customers and Siemens teams to report progress and identify service opportunities.
• Resolve complex problems on machinery; coordinate with engineering to implement changes; maintain backups of system software.
• Communicate progress, schedules, and open items; prepare detailed technical reports.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required; work day or night shifts under challenging conditions.
