Job summary

You will collaborate with combustion design and repair engineering to innovate and reduce fabrication costs for gas turbine components. The position requires maintaining and operating rough process equipment, strict safety, and quality checks; eligibility to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
• This position requires an export license under US export control laws; issuance of any required license is a prerequisite.

Responsibilities

• Will maintain, adjust, and operate all rough special process equipment as required for work to be performed.
• Ensures all safety guards and shields are in place before beginning operation, checking engineering instructions and specifications with the correct procedure and quality requirements before working on parts.
• Checks routers to ensure the proper part number and master heat number is on paperwork; performs spot checks on cut-off parts to ensure accuracy; inspects for cracks, heat checks, or other damage.
• Reports defective equipment to the supervisor and leaves the work area clean and orderly at the end of shift.
• Other duties may be assigned and cross-training as needed.
