Job summary

Williams International seeks an Engineer to join the team in Ogden, UT or Pontiac, MI with a plan to transfer to Okaloosa, Florida by mid-2027. The role focuses on lean manufacturing, implementing new gas turbine engine component designs, and developing process improvements for existing designs.

The engineer will create estimated process plans, part detail designs (blueprints), manufacturing process plans, perform process development, NC programming, tool design, and collaborate with layout

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with interest in gas turbine engines.
• 0–5 years overall experience; internship/co-op desirable.
• Desirable: Machining, CNC programming, automation or tool design.
• Must read and interpret part drawings; strong CAD skills; U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop estimated process plans and part detail designs.
• Develop process improvements for existing designs.
• Perform NC programming and tool design.
• Work in lean manufacturing cell implementing new gas turbine engine components.
