Job summary

ONE Gas, Inc. in Oklahoma seeks a Field Operations Technician to perform non-contact customer service orders, line locating, and leak survey duties where applicable. Position requires the ability to read maps/blueprints, work safely with gas equipment, and travel over uneven terrain. Experience with data entry and emergency procedures is valued.

Responsibilities

• Drive and maintain company vehicle and load, unload, and operate tools and equipment.
• Assist with pipeline locating using conductive, inductive and mark by measurement.
• Complete Line locating procedures and maintain compliance with OKIE 811 law.
• Turn gas service off, remove meters, and install electronic reader transmitters (ERTs).
• Inspect, calibrate, maintain, and/or repair leakage survey tools and equipment.
• Complete and update reports like equipment maintenance, mileage, time sheets, GIS, gas leaks, and work logs.
