Job summary

Meijer in the United States seeks an entry‑level Stocking Clerk to support daily store operations. You’ll stock shelves, move product from pallets, handle backroom backstock, and keep areas clean and safe while delivering friendly customer service.

Afternoon and evening shifts are available; you’ll work with leadership to complete tasks on time and provide a positive shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications

• Entry level position in retail with focus on customer service and merchandising.
• Ability to follow processes and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with basic technology and taking direction from leadership.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.

What You’ll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your workensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

You’ll:

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back‑room areas
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
