Job summary

Meijer in Warren, Ohio is seeking a Stocking Clerk to support daily store operations. You will stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products, move items from pallets to shelves, and keep back areas organized.

This entry-level role emphasizes friendly customer service, teamwork, and following processes to ensure shelves are ready for customers. Overnight shifts help prepare the store for the day ahead.

Qualifications

• Tech Literacy: comfortable using basic technology and systems.

• Physical stamina: capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move products from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
