Job summary

Shoreside Petroleum in Anchorage, AK is seeking a Station Attendant to ensure the gas station is fully stocked, well-maintained, and running smoothly while delivering excellent customer service. You will handle daily store operations, assist with training, and manage cash and card transactions.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED, a minimum of one year in retail or gas station work, experience with money handling, and the ability to obtain a propane certificate within 30 days

Qualifications

Experience with money handling, credit card processing.
Propane certificate within 30 days of hire.
Ability to work cooperatively with others and follow guidelines.
Regular attendance is required.

Responsibilities

CUSTOMER SERVICE: Provides excellent customer service and sells tobacco and convenience items.
OPERATIONS: Manages station operations in the absence of the Station Manager and assists training of new hires.
CASH MANAGEMENT: Handles money, uses a computerized cash register and credit card machine, and balances the cash drawer at shift end.
PERFORMS OTHER RELATED DUTIES: Dispensing propane, restocking, cleaning, and other routine tasks.
