Job summary

Meijer is seeking an entry level Stocking Clerk to support customer service and merchandising. You will stock shelves, move products from pallets to correct locations, and help keep the store clean and organized for a great shopping experience.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and reliable performance in a fast-paced retail environment, with opportunities for advancement and growth within a family-oriented company.

Qualifications

• Entry level retail role focused on customer service and merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move products from pallets to shelves accurately and efficiently.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in backroom areas.
• Work with leadership to complete tasks on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly interactions with customers as needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks to keep store operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your workensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

You'll:

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated backroom areas
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
