Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Stocking Clerk to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service while keeping shelves stocked and properly merchandised. This entry level role involves retail tasks, teamwork, and attention to organization.

You will stock shelves, move products from pallets to correct locations, manage backstock, and assist leadership to ensure timely completion of tasks, all while maintaining a clean and safe store environment.

Qualifications

• Entry level position with focus on customer service and merchandising.
• Retail environment experience is a plus but not required.
• Able to learn processes and operate basic technology.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with food and grocery products.
• Move products from pallets to shelves accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room area.
• Work with store leadership to complete tasks on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
• Engage with customers in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Perform overnight prep to open the store for the day.
