Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are stocked with a wide range of products and to provide friendly, knowledgeable service to customers.

This entry level role involves merchandising, organizing backstock, and collaborating with store leadership to meet daily goals. You will engage with customers, maintain a clean store environment, and participate in overnight preparation to start each day with fully stocked aisles.

Qualifications

• Entry level role focused on stocking and customer service.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts.
• Experience with pallets or backstock is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back‑room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
