Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Gas Station Attendant to deliver friendly, efficient service in the checkout lane. You will handle transactions, manage cash with accuracy, and greet customers to create a positive shopping experience.

As part of our team, you’ll work 20–35 hours per week with shifts across early, mid, and evening hours. Previous gas station or cashier experience is preferred, but not required, as training is provided.

Core Hours: 6a-2p, 9a-5p, 2p-10p, 20-35 hours per week 5 to 7.5-hour shifts, full weekend availability needed Previous gas station or cashier experience preferred

As a Gas Station attendant, you will craft quality customer experiences by providing efficient, effective customer service in the checkout lane that creates a positive and lasting impact on Meijer customers.

What You’ll be Doing:

Utilize technology to complete activities and tasks. You create 'WOW' moments that have a positive and lasting impact on our customers. Complete transactions, handle money in all forms responsibly and maintain accuracy of point of sale purchases. Use good eye contact and body language, displaying a friendly and outgoing attitude. Be prepared to handle customer questions adequately and appropriately. Build trustful relationships with customers to encourage return visits.

What You Bring with You (Qualifications):
