Job summary

Meijer stores a wide range of goods in a fast-paced retail setting. As a Stocking Clerk, you’ll stock shelves with food and general merchandise, assist customers, and keep aisles neat and safe while delivering a great shopping experience.

This entry‑level role requires willingness to learn basic technology, follow procedures, and work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead. You’ll move products from pallets to shelves, pull backstock, and collaborate with leadership to complete

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Able to follow processes and procedures in an organized way.
• Able to stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoys being part of a team and supporting shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food, general merchandise and grocery products.
• Cash register Training provided.
• Food Service Training provided.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

This position will be responsible for duties at the Gas Station, including cashier, food service, gas pumps and stocking. This entry level team member position will be exposed to a variety of retail tasks related to product, customer service and merchandising.

What You'll Do
