Job summary

Meijer is a family company dedicated to serving people and communities. The Stocking Clerk role keeps shelves stocked and store operations smooth, delivering friendly customer service and accurate product placement.

You'll work overnight shifts, move stock from pallets to shelves, and collaborate with leadership to complete tasks while maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Able to stay organized and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented with a focus on shared goals.
• Able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move products from pallets or carts to shelves accurately and efficiently.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your work ensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

You'll

• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly

What You Bring
