Job summary

NextEra Energy Marketing, LLC is seeking a dynamic individual to help schedule natural gas for facilities and support senior staff on projects. The role includes ensuring portfolio accuracy, collaborating with Trading, Origination and Analytics teams, and maintaining compliance with risk guidelines.

Intermediate Excel skills are required to handle existing formulas. The position offers full-time hours in Houston, with relocation provided if applicable and opportunities within a leading energy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience required.
• Experience in energy trading or market analysis preferred.
• Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) desired.

Responsibilities

• Schedule natural gas for facilities and support senior staff.
• Verify portfolio accuracy and assist back office with monthly closings.
• Collaborate with Trading, Origination and Analytics teams.
• Ensure alignment with management systems and risk guidelines.
• Develop relationships with gas producers and marketers.
• Support gas optimization trading activities.
• Take after-hours and weekend on-call responsibilities in rotation.
• Participate in critical events, including potential relocation to backup site during extreme weather.
• Navigate and manage pre-existing Excel formulas.
