Job summary

Pneumatech is seeking a Safety Technician in Texas to calibrate and maintain gas monitors in the safety department. The role involves supporting emergency response activities and verifying work areas meet contract requirements.

The job requires physical fitness, Hazmat and respirator qualification, and ability to work all shifts or weekends. A valid driver’s license and PPE use are required, with travel for site work possible.

Qualifications

• Ability to climb, bend, stoop, squat, crawl, crouch, kneel, lift, carry, balance and reach above shoulder level, push or pull weight up to fifty (50) pounds.
• Pass all required physicals such as Hazmat, respirator
• Must be qualified to wear respirators (SCBA)
• Must be able to work all shifts, and/or weekends as required
• Must be able to enter and move about in confined spaces and wear personal protective equipment
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and maintain gas monitors used in the safety department
• Participate in emergency response activities
• Examine the work area to assure that all required work has been completed and is in compliance with the contract requirements
• Maintains cleanliness of the work center and around assigned work area
