The position involves heavy manual tasks, various weather conditions, risk of exposure to gas fumes, and occasional emergency response. A valid driver’s license and Journeyman Gas Fitter license are required, with OQ certification

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED with at least four years' experience in operation and maintenance of master meter and regulator stations.
• Valid driver’s license; Journeyman Gas Fitter license; OQ certification within 60 days of hire.
• Knowledge of gas distribution systems, safety practices, and record keeping.

Aufgaben

• Maintains high pressure regulator stations; dismantles, rebuilds, repairs, and inspects components for efficient performance.
• Updates and completes forms and records for accurate information.
• Calibrates gas leaks, CO detectors, and gas pressure recorders.
• Records odorization levels and maintains odorant dispensing units; monitors tank levels.
• Performs atmospheric corrosion control; sand blasts and paints regulator stations as required.
• Maintains compressor stations; checks oil, troubleshoots compressors, dispensers, and card readers.
• Removes debris from gas lines and adjusts pressure to restore service.
• Monitors pressure and regulators; responds to service calls with customer service focus.
• Conducts pipeline inspections and writes work orders for repairs.
