Job summary

Unitil is seeking a Customer Projects Coordinator-Gas in Portland, ME to coordinate information flow for gas service requests and assist with gas project planning, ensuring accurate data and timely communications.

You will prepare letters, estimates, and gas meter-related documents, monitor project status, and support supervisory staff to maintain compliance with applicable regulations and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Business or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible related experience.
• Proficient with computer software such as Excel, Word, and other desktop tools; ideal to have experience with information systems (Oracle WACS and Oracle FFS).
• Demonstrate strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assemble information pertaining to gas service requests to ensure accurate information is collected and processed.
• Prepare and finalize accurate letters, estimates, and authorizations for gas projects.
• Monitor and update the status of customer-related projects within databases and distribute reports.
• Assist supervisory staff with coordination of gas system maintenance and compliance with regulations.
