Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a Plant Operator to manage compressors, pumps, valves, and related gas processing equipment across our Stanton facilities. You will monitor and adjust processes to ensure safe, compliant, and cost-efficient operation.

Responsibilities include responding to alarms, performing routine maintenance, and coordinating with control centers. A high school diploma and ability to work in a 24/7 shift environment are required; travel is minimal.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Must maintain valid driver’s license in state of residency.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment, shift rotations, and respond to call outs.

Responsibilities

Operate, inspect, and maintain plant equipment and systems (compressors, pumps, valves, etc.) in a reliable and compliant manner.
Respond to alarms and take corrective actions to protect equipment and processes.
Monitor pressures, temperatures, and flow to achieve desired operating results.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform minor repairs as needed.
Coordinate with control centers and third-party contractors during maintenance activities.
