Job summary

Producers Midstream Management LLC in Hobbs, NM, is seeking a Plant Operator responsible for compressors, pumps, valves, and related gas processing equipment to run safely and reliably.

You will monitor systems, respond to alarms, and work with control centers to optimize throughput while maintaining regulatory and safety standards daily.

This role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work a 24/7 shift pattern; prior experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Able to work in a 24/7 rotational environment and handle emergencies.
• Proficient with MS Office and basic software tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain plant equipment and systems safely.
• Optimize processing by maintaining specs.
• Respond to alarms and take corrective action.
• Monitor pressures, temperatures, flow rates, and levels.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
• Coordinate with control centers and third-party crews.
• Perform lab tests and minor repairs as needed.
• Live within 60-65 miles of reporting location and respond to callouts.
