Job summary

Tallgrass is seeking an Operations Technician to install, operate and maintain natural gas liquid processing facilities. You will manage compressors, engines, pumps and related equipment while monitoring process variables and ensuring safe, compliant operation.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math, and the ability to obtain Operator Qualifications. Expect rotating shifts, field work, occasional travel and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; two years' relevant experience may substitute.
• Knowledge of compressor/pump station operations beneficial.
• Basic math and measurements proficiency.
• Ability to obtain Operator Qualifications (OQ).
• Valid driver''s license required.

Responsibilities

• Operate compressors, engines, turbines, pumps, and related equipment.
• Monitor process variables such as pressure, temperature and flow.
• Start/stop equipment to maintain operating parameters.
• Plan and perform maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Ensure safe, cost-effective operation of processing units.
• Communicate with control centers and field teams.
• Work rotating shifts and weekends as needed.
