Job summary

Blattner Company is expanding its energy construction leadership into gas power generation in the United States. The Project Cost Controls role supports the project team with contract management, payments, reporting, and liaison between job sites and the corporate office.

Requires a Bachelor or Associate's degree in accounting (or related) and 5+ years in accounting, accounts payable or taxes, with construction experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate's degree in accounting or related degree, or equivalent combinations of education and work experience.
• 5+ years of experience with accounting, accounts payable, taxes, or related experience; construction experience a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and data entry (10-key).
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work under deadlines.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports processing of subcontractor and supplier contracts and change orders via Textura and other programs.
• Reviews and updates procurement purchase orders for taxability based on state guidelines.
• Collaborates with vendors, job site personnel, and corporate office colleagues to resolve invoice and payment issues.
• Monitors monthly statements and ensures payments are made on time.
• Trains and reviews the work of lower-level employees and provides guidance on issues escalated.
