Job summary

Blattner Energy seeks a dedicated Quality Control professional to lead on-site inspection and testing activities, ensuring compliance with project drawings and contract specs. You will drive continuous improvement, supervise QC inspectors, and coordinate with project teams to resolve quality issues.

With a strong focus on collaboration, you will apply root cause analysis and standard work practices while maintaining safety and regulatory standards across renewable energy projects.

Qualifications

• Two-year related degree or equivalent experience.
• Two years of quality control process and supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid motor vehicle record with ability to operate company vehicles.
• Ability to read and understand contract exhibits and engineering plans.
• Analytical, organized, and detail oriented.
• Build strong relationships with Trade Superintendents and Project Team.
• Clear and persuasive communication; active listening skills.
• Experience with root cause analysis and problem solving.
• Enforce company policies and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the effective implementation of the Quality Program at the project level.
• Act as an unbiased Quality representative independent of production goals.
• Promotes a team approach to ensure the Inspection and Testing Plan, project drawings, and specs are achieved.
• Supervises, trains, and schedules Quality Control Inspectors; ensures proper application of instructions.
• Tracks and presents quality metrics to the project team.
• Applies Stop Work Authority for non-compliance with contract requirements or drawings.
• Liaises with Owner/Developer on quality issues and concerns.
