Job summary

GE Vernova offers a co-op/internship in Gas Power for engineering students with 1–2 semesters left. You will receive training, mentorship, and hands-on experience in design, analysis, and testing of turbines, engines, and generators.

Participants engage with drafting and manufacturing teams to develop new concepts and improvements while preparing for a full-time career in power engineering. Eligibility requires US work authorization and a strong GPA.

Qualifications

• Must have one to two semesters left prior to graduation and be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in an engineering discipline.
• Eligible majors include Aeronautical, Aerospace, Chemical, Electrical, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Receive technical training, mentorship, and coaching from world-class technologists and experienced technical managers.
• Grow technical expertise in your chosen field and expand your skills in new areas.
• Perform design and analysis of product lines in areas such as steam turbines, gas turbines, gas engines and generators.
• Develop and implement new design concepts and design improvements; collaborate with drafting and manufacturing to resolve issues.
