Job summary

GE Vernova in Longmont, CO seeks a Gas Power Co-op/Intern to tackle design and analysis across steam turbines, gas turbines, gas engines and generators, with mentorship from world-class technologists and managers.

Interns receive training and engage in areas such as Systems, Analysis, Design, Quality, Reliability, Digital, and Test, while partnering with drafting and manufacturing teams to solve complex production problems.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in an engineering discipline.
• Eligible majors include: Aeronautical Eng, Aerospace Eng, Chemical Eng, Electrical Eng, Materials Science Eng, Mechanical Eng, or Computer Science.
• Must maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (unrounded).
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Receive technical training, mentoring, and coaching from world-class technologists and managers.
• Grow technical expertise in your field and expand skills in new areas.
• Tackle technically challenging assignments across Systems, Analysis, Design, Quality, Reliability, Digital, and Integration & Test.
• Develop and implement new design concepts and improvements; collaborate with drafting and manufacturing teams.
