Job summary

Air Liquide Electronics is hiring a Gas Plant Production Technician in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves operating and maintaining steam methane reformers, CO2 purification, and high-purity gas delivery systems for a semiconductor site. You will monitor plants, respond to alarms, and work with others to ensure 24/7 operations.

On-call, shift work and travel may be required. Eligibility includes a High School Diploma or GED with technical training; 6+ years preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Technical Associates degree preferred.
• 6+ years of technical training or operations experience.
• Knowledge of instrumentation, rotating equipment and piping systems.
• Familiarity with process safety regulations and locking out equipment.
• Ability to use computers including Google and Microsoft software.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays and to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot steam methane reformers, CO2 purification, and gas delivery systems.
• Monitor plant systems and respond to alarms to ensure continuous 24/7 high-purity gas delivery.
• Support maintenance, startup, and repair of equipment including compressors, pumps, and towers.
• Participate in Safe Work Permit program and follow HS&E standards.
• Maintain records of equipment maintenance and assist in procedure drafting.
