Job summary

American Gas Products, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Plant Assistant for our North Andover area facility.

The role supports daily operations at an industrial gas site, ensuring filled, labeled, tested, and documented cylinders are ready for delivery while maintaining strict safety and regulatory compliance. The position reports to the Operations Manager and involves handling high‑pressure gas cylinders, participating in safety drills, and performing routine inspections.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, and work on feet for extended periods.
• Forklift certification or experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety protocols and PPE requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Record cylinder movements and label appropriately.
• Assist in cylinder filling and pre/post-fill inspections.
• Operate plant equipment as trained and authorized.
• Prepare cylinders for shipment and assist with loading/unloading.
