Job summary

TC Energy seeks a skilled Mechanical Technician to support eastern Iowa operations and the maintenance of natural gas pipelines and facilities in Eldridge and surrounding areas. You will work with electrical compressors, pumps, regulators, and related equipment, performing preventive and corrective maintenance with minimal supervision.

The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, a valid driver's license, and willingness to work extended hours for emergency response.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Oil and gas industry experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years of mechanical experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, operate and maintain electrically driven gas compressors and related equipment.
• Inspect, repair and set regulators and relief valves.
• Plan, coordinate and perform mechanical maintenance activities.
• Complete work orders and input data in SAP.
• Travel to other locations for temporary assignments as needed.
