Job summary

Frontier Natural Gas Company in Elkin, NC seeks a Gas Pipeline Compliance Analyst to support the pipeline safety program. The role provides regulatory analysis and technical support to Operations, identifying compliance concerns and preparing essential documentation for regulatory activities.

The candidate will monitor compliance with 49 CFR Parts 191/192, collaborate with internal teams, and assist with audits and improving procedures. A strong knowledge of state/federal codes is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5+ years in compliance or related field; alternative 9+ years experience with HS diploma.
• Knowledge of federal/state pipeline safety regulations and industry standards.
• Proven ability to prepare regulatory reports and support audits.

Responsibilities

• Review operations for compliance with 49 CFR Parts 191 and 192 and state requirements.
• Monitor pipeline performance and support corrective actions.
• Answer compliance questions from Operations and contractors; provide guidance.
• Coordinate with agencies and prepare regulatory submissions.
• Support internal and external audits with records and responses.
• Research and interpret pipeline safety requirements for project support.
• Lead audits preparations and maintain accurate records.
• Share pipeline compliance knowledge within the department.
