Job summary

Williams is seeking an Operations Technician Senior to maintain facility equipment and support pipeline operations. The role emphasizes safety, data analysis, and accurate record‑keeping across complex gas measuring equipment.

Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, drafting procedures, complying with policies, and protecting people and the environment while performing maintenance and troubleshooting in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of six (6) years of demonstrated ability as an Operations Technician for similar equipment or facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks to safely maintain facility equipment and support pipeline operations, including technical standards and governmental requirements.
• Carry out moderate to highly sophisticated technical assignments as prescribed by the leader, analyzing data to resolve issues.
• Read and interpret drawings; draft operations and maintenance procedures.
• Follow all policies and apply appropriate procedures.
• Coordinate protection of community, personnel, environment, and assets.
• Maintain knowledge of site/location/equipment specific permits and compliance.
• Complete assigned reports, logs and maintain accurate records.
• Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot natural gas measurement equipment, including meters (ultrasonic, orifice, rotary, etc.), gas chromatographs, over‑pressure protection devices, analyzers, transmitters, odorant pumps, and associated control equipment.
