Job summary

Black Hills Energy is seeking a Gas Operations Manager in Manchester, Iowa. You will lead a service and operations workforce to meet safety, reliability, and customer service goals for our natural gas utility.

The role requires living within 20 miles of the Manchester district and reports to the Gas Operations Manager. The compensation range is $105,750 to $174,450, with relocation assistance available based on circumstances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business management, engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of three years in utility industry, gas operations, or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety initiatives across operations complying with standards.
• Supervise and develop front-line staff in construction, maintenance, and customer support.
• Manage employee and labor relations at the operations level.
• Oversee all regulated/mandated work and emergency response.
• Resolve customer requests while delivering top-tier service.
• Support community relations and continuous improvement efforts.
• Oversee decisions impacting capital and maintenance programs with external contractors.
