Job summary

Ameren Illinois is seeking a Supervisor, Gas Operations to lead gas construction and service crews, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with bargaining agreements. The role focuses on day-to-day leadership, scheduling, and efficient work tracking across projects.

You will enforce safety and HR policies, coordinate with customers and other departments, and drive continuous improvement to reduce costs and enhance productivity within the gas distribution network.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of relevant gas distribution, construction or maintenance experience OR five+ years in heavy industry supervision with gas experience
• Proficiency with general computer skills is preferred
• Basic knowledge of TRIS, OAS, and DOJM systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise, develop, and evaluate crews engaged in gas distribution construction and maintenance
• Schedule and direct workforce safely and efficiently within collective bargaining constraints
• Enforce safety rules consistently and conduct Job Behavioral Observations
• Enforce HR policies with individuals and crews
• Identify and implement improvements to control costs and boost productivity
